Rehab Technician – Outpatient Physical Rehab ServicesHourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: Rolling Meadows, ILFull time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/weekHours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)Required Travel: NoWhat You Will Do:Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activitiesCommunicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapistMaintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.Coordinates therapists' daily caseloads and schedules as appropriateWhat You Will Need:Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certificationBenefits:Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
