The CT Technologist I performs routine CT imaging exams under established protocols, supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care. Working in a hospital radiology department, this role verifies orders, screens and prepares patients, positions them for scans, and administers IV contrast as directed. The technologist follows radiation safety, sterile technique, and infection-control practices, assists during invasive CT procedures, documents in clinical systems, and helps respond to patient changes and emergencies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
