Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Editorial Specialist . This position supports the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Quality Assurance Director, with a primary focus on reviewing and editing print production routes for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan's Purse, while also assisting with the coordination and management of multi-departmental, cross-organizational projects.

In the role of Editorial Specialist ,you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Review print production routes for both Samaritan's Purse and BGEA, helping ensure quality, consistency, and alignment in voice and messaging while partnering with the EVP and QA Director to address concerns.
• Communicate Quality Assurance feedback to Communications teams and work with Project Specialists to ensure reviews, revisions, and approvals are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Support the EVP and staff writers with editing and rewriting, helping strengthen communications so they clearly reflect the mission and desired message of the ministry.
• Review second routes to confirm that requested feedback and corrections have been properly implemented and that final materials meet quality standards.
• Support ministry communications and special projects by creating captions for ministry wall photos and displays, conducting research as needed, and collaborating across Samaritan's Purse and BGEA to monitor progress, prepare reports, and meet deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified in the job description.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree from college or technical school, and at least five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to proofread and edit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
