NeuroPsych Account Specialist - Chicago North
Neurocrine Biosciences
Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Account Specialist to manage a Chicago North territory, promoting neuropsychiatric products to healthcare providers and facilities. The role combines sales strategy execution, physician relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive product acceptance through targeted education and strategic account management in assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, clinical staff, payers, and advocacy groups
- Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications to meet objectives
- Identify territory-specific barriers and opportunities impacting product success
- Collaborate with managed care, marketing, and medical teams on product initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or neurology/psychiatry sales strongly desired
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or similar business systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives in complex markets
