Accountant/Sr/Technical/Sr Technical Accountant - Gas

The Gas Accountant is responsible for analyzing, reconciling, and recording the physical flow of natural gas and related financial transactions associated with BHE Pipeline Group monthly pipeline operations. This role supports accurate accounting and reporting of transportation revenues, fuel activity, and operational transactions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.

At higher levels, the position contributes to the development of business policies, leads special financial and operational studies, and partners with cross-functional teams to provide analyses that support operational, regulatory, and strategic business objectives.

BHE Pipeline Group consists of Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s interstate natural gas pipeline companies, BHE GT&S, Kern River Gas Transmission Company and Northern Natural Gas Company.
