Position Summary Performs three or more entry level position tasks including accurate, appropriate, cost effective, high quality assembly and distribution of food, operation of service equipment, and set up of patient, cafeteria, physicians lounge areas. Prepares enteral feeding for patients including infants. Cleaning and sanitation including ware washing. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Demonstrates ability to accurately receive and store requisitioned food and supplies. Demonstrates the ability to follow standardized recipes according to HACCP standards. Demonstrates proper sanitation practices when cleaning equipment and areas. Produces forecasted and special tally items accurately, with no over or under producing. Serves patient foods accurately and safely according to standards. Accurately provides patient floor stocking and record keeping to the par levels established. Arrives at work on time. Follows company policies, procedures and directives. Interacts in a positive and constructive manner. Prioritizes and multitasks. Qualifications Qualifications/Work Experience: Previous restaurant or acute care hospital foodservice experience. Ability to perform and understand entry level tasks of at least three areas within foodservice. Education/Licensure/Certification: High School diploma or GED preferred. *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
