Senior Veterinary Assistant Compassionate Community Care

The Senior Veterinary Assistant (SVA) at the ASPCA Community Medicine team assists veterinarians and technicians, prepares animals for surgery, enters medical records, and monitors patients under anesthesia. This on-site Los Angeles role supports spay/neuter surgery and primary pet care for families in underserved communities.
Requires at least a high school diploma or GED, one year of animal handling experience, and Fear Free Shelter certification within 60 days.
