About the Role

As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the nursing team, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and support.

• Developing and implementing care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

• Collaborating with other department heads to ensure seamless delivery of services and excellent resident outcomes.

• Evaluating and improving the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.

• Building strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a culture of compassion and respect.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

• Recruit, train, and mentor new nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Monitor and report on resident care outcomes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, ensuring smooth transitions and coordination of care.

• Participate in compliance and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our organization meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
