Principal Customer Engagement Specialist - Midwest Region (Touch Surgery / Digital, Data, & Ecosystem)

Medtronic seeks a Principal Customer Engagement Specialist to support hospital adoption of Digital Technologies solutions across the Midwest region. This field-based role partners with surgical teams, administrators, and IT stakeholders to optimize perioperative workflows, drive technology utilization, and expand solution deployment within health systems.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses, OR leaders, administrators, and IT teams across assigned accounts
Analyze customer usage data and develop action plans to improve adoption, retention, and account growth
Facilitate customer business reviews and present performance metrics and opportunities to hospital stakeholders
Deliver product training, support feature adoption, and troubleshoot operational issues with technical teams
Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to identify expansion opportunities and communicate customer feedback

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years healthcare technology/medical device experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years
Experience working in operating room, procedural, or surgical care environments
Ability to engage multiple stakeholder groups across clinical, operational, administrative, and IT functions
75%+ travel capability within Midwest territory; remote work within region required
Experience supporting technology adoption in large health systems or integrated delivery networks
Familiarity with hospital decision-making structures and workflow optimization initiatives
