Our established patient population values comprehensive dentistry and long-term relationships, and our practice leans more toward fee-for-service and PPO care rather than heavy insurance participation.Your Role as a Dental HygienistProvide preventive and therapeutic hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatmentsPerform periodontal assessments and maintain accurate chartingCapture and interpret digital x-raysEducate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive careConduct head, neck, and oral cancer screeningsIdentify periodontal and restorative needs and communicate findings with the dentistBuild meaningful relationships with established patientsCollaborate with doctors and team members to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered careMaintain accurate records and uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standardsWhat You'll BringAssociate degree or higher from an accredited dental hygiene programActive Massachusetts Dental Hygienist licenseCurrent CPR certificationLocal anesthesia certification required or willingness to obtain1+ year of experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to applyStrong clinical and patient education skillsProfessional, compassionate communication styleA commitment to providing thorough, individualized careAbout Newton Centre DentalFor more than 20 years, Newton Centre Dental has provided comprehensive dentistry to adults and children throughout Newton and surrounding communities.
