This position provides 37.5 hours per week supporting a caseload of around 45-50 students in a vibrant educational community near Southport and Wilmington, NC. Both SLP-CCC and strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply, making this an ideal role for experienced professionals or those looking to deepen their expertise in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Possession of or eligibility for North Carolina licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly valued; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in healthcare or school environments
• Background in teletherapy is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to school-aged children
• Support and implement IEPs, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other professionals including teachers, administrators, and special education staff
• Keep thorough records of student progress and regularly communicate updates to families and colleagues
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary team discussions
