Logistics Clerk

Role Summary Our client is looking for a Logistics Clerk to join their team. This position will be responsible for creating shipping labels, boxing products safely and securely, and ensuring the right product is sent to the right customer. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail. Key Results Areas Prepares shipments by assembling, counting, weighing, checking against shipping orders, and reporting discrepancies Ships domestic and international items by verifying identifying information and quantity and conditions of items, loading and protecting items Occasionally receives items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, and forwarding documents to receiving Maintains shipping materials by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed materials, placing and expediting orders for materials, verifying receipt of materials Skills & Requirements Must be able to work flexible shifts, days, hours, and weekends as well as work overtime as needed Capable of demonstrating team building and a positive attitude Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English Proven ability to prioritize and multitask Strong planning, organizing, and attention to detail High School Diploma or GED preferred Equal Employment Opportunity In its recruiting and search practices, HRforGrowth does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity, and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals.
