Pediatric Neonatology Division Director (Open Rank) Opportunity:The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) John Sealy School of Medicine in Galveston is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neonatology Division Director at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. This is a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic health system and a collaborative team of clinicians dedicated to advancing care for children.This position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, contribute to the education of pediatric residents and medical students, and engage in meaningful clinical care across UTMB’s Galveston Island and Clear Lake, and Angleton campusesPrimary responsibilities include overseeing the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas,; supporting faculty development and recruitment; ensuring continuity of care and coverage during the leadership transition; leading the Level IV Galveston NICU; promoting all nursery certification efforts, driving strategic upgrades to establish a Level III NICU at Clear Lake Hospital and a Level II Nursery at Angleton-Danbury Hospital; maintain alignment with institutional priorities; and advancing key initiatives in neonatal care and research, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in clinical outcomes.
