Manufacturing Engineer (Direct Hire)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay Range: $30.00-$45.00 DOE

Overview
Saxon is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and support new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new product and process implementation, including tooling, workflows, and operator training
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and process optimization
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and suppliers
• Support layout planning, material flow, and production readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (plastic injection molding preferred)
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Experience with BOMs, process documentation, and continuous improvement
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
