Quality Technician The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that materials, components, and finished products meet all dimensional, visual, and functional requirements before they move through production and ship to customers. Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspection of incoming materials and components prior to receipt into the system to ensure they meet specified requirements. Verify compliance of parts and assemblies to engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements. Identify, document, label, and segregate nonconforming materials and initiate appropriate disposition actions. Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing to verify ongoing product conformance. Support first-piece and in-process verification activities to validate initial production runs. Perform final inspections on finished products, including comprehensive First Article Inspection (FAI). Ensure completion, accuracy, and traceability of all inspection documentation and quality records. Set up and operate precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, and optical inspection tools. Collect, record, and analyze quality data related to defects, scrap, rework, and performance trends. Qualifications At least 3 years of previous experience directly in a Quality Control position Able to use and set up CMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools Strong mathematical skills Ability to read blueprints/schematics Pay: This is a 1st shift salaried position ($50,000-55,000) OT will be paid at an additional hourly rate of 1.5x pay rate Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Erie, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
