Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a part time Physical Therapist on a contract basis (0.5 FTE), you’ll help create inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state
• Prior experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based settings
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and design education-based treatment plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work with students, staff, and families
• Strong documentation skills for writing IEP goals and progress reports
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving in diverse educational environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical and developmental needs to support access to educational settings
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic interventions
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate mobility strategies into the classroom
• Help educate caregivers and staff on safe, effective strategies and equipment use
• Regularly monitor therapy effectiveness and modify interventions as needed
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for students of all abilities
