About the Position

Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments within a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
• Manage a caseload of typically 8–10 patients per day as an OTR
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient records
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Operate general acute care DME appropriate to patient needs
• Function with a high degree of autonomy and accountability in care planning and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hospital-based occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience in an acute care environment
• Comprehensive stroke experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, and flexibility skills suited to a fast-paced acute care setting
