Work Schedule:

• Rotating daylight, evening, and overnight hours.
• 8-, 10-, and/or 12-hour shifts available.
• Rotating weekend and holiday coverage hours.
• NO on-call hours!
• Rare possible travel to our Children’s South location in Bridgeville for coverage support.

The MRI/CT Tech Assistant will support our MRI Technologists and other department staff with daily activities, and assist with the set up and execution of various MRI examinations! Responsibilities:

• Greets patients and assists with paperwork.
• Answers phone calls regarding scheduling, questions, and patient history.
• Properly prepares the patient and MRI coil for accurate imaging, ensuring safe scanning and entrance into the MRI scan room, and conducts MRI screening.
• Assists with lifting and transferring patients to and from exam tables, as needed.
• Establishes IV access (e.g. for contrast administration) and assists technologist in the preparation of oral contrast for patients, according to established procedures.
• Performs telemetry monitoring during exam, as necessary, and transports patients to and from the unit when required.
• Provides discharge and general instructions to patients.
• Cleans and prepares exam rooms following established procedures.
