RN - TELE

Registered Nurse - PCU/Tele

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, 4x12 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Registered Nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit and Telemetry setting, providing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions. The nurse will be expected to manage patient care effectively while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, managing medications and treatment plans.
• Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring, documenting vital signs and rhythms.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Preferred 1-2 years of nursing experience in an acute care environment, particularly in PCU/Tele.
