Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

The position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist to work in a surgical setting. The shift is Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Rotating late days may be required to finish the last case. Floating to other ambulatory sites is required as needed. Candidates must hold current BLS and CST certifications. Experience in specific surgical procedures such as Ankle fusion, Arthroscopy, and Total knee replacement is preferred. Knowledge of sterilization and disinfection processes, instrument handling, and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment is essential. Understanding of safety protocols, including fire safety and radiation safety, is necessary. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. A strong commitment to maintaining a sterile field and adhering to aseptic techniques is required. Candidates must be prepared for a rigorous credentialing process, including fingerprinting. References must be provided as part of the hiring process. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are vital for this role.
