Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM with 1-hour lunch; Tuesday–Thursday for second shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay, with an expected caseload of approximately 11 patients per day (60-minute evaluations, 45-minute treatments)
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned with appropriate supervision and evaluation
• Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts, regulatory requirements, and professional codes of conduct; maintain active professional licensure in good standing

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Ability to manage an outpatient caseload independently and effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development
