' Seeking an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary surgical team in San Jose, California. This opportunity involves caring for orthopedic trauma patients in a Level II Trauma Center managing approximately 600 orthopedic trauma cases annually. The provider will support inpatient surgical care and outpatient orthopedic trauma follow-up in a high-acuity clinical environment. Compensation: $ 140 ,000 Position Highlights Located in San Jose, California Level II Trauma Center Approximately 600 orthopedic trauma cases annually Inpatient surgical care and outpatient orthopedic trauma follow-up High-acuity, multidisciplinary practice environment Collaboration with orthopedic trauma surgeons and clinical team members Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with orthopedic trauma injuries. Provide inpatient care, including preoperative and postoperative management. Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor recovery. Assist orthopedic surgeons with surgical procedures as needed and within scope of practice. Perform inpatient rounds and coordinate care with nursing staff and other specialists. Provide outpatient follow-up, assess healing, and support rehabilitation planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and follow-up care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current national certification as a PA or NP. Active California license.
