About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer for its Young Adult Program, which is dedicated to providing care and education for young adults with complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, personalized care in compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role involves participating in strategic planning, driving quality care, and leading an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement an innovative care model. The Chief Nursing Officer will also be a key advocate for nursing, representing the organization in professional settings, and will be expected to solve problems with compassion, focus on quality and safety, and foster a culture of growth and professionalism within the nursing staff. Applicants must have a New York State RN License, BCLS certification, and a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice. A minimum of ten years of nursing experience, with 5-7 years in progressive leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills, as well as the ability to apply critical thinking and analytic skills to problem-solving and decision-making. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to the mission of the organization are essential. The role demands a dynamic individual who is energy, adaptable, and dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of young adults and their families.
