Join us and be part of a team where your impact truly drives the business forward.With a mission of "Growth Powered by People," we are propelled by our colleagues and preferred by our customers, making Lithia & Driveway the leading automotive retailer in each of our markets.Our success is fueled by four core values:Earning Customers for LifeImproving ConstantlyTaking Personal OwnershipHaving FunOur entrepreneurial, high-performance culture sets us apart, and our philosophy is straightforward: assemble a team of passionate individuals and cultivate an environment that empowers colleagues to excel.We’d love to have you join us on our journey.What You’ll Do:Process Daily Transactions: Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.Audit Car Deals: Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.Track and Report Issues: Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.Collaborate with Store Operations: Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.Assist with Accounting Schedules: Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.Cross-Train and Provide Backup: Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed.Meet Performance Standards: Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.What You’ll Bring:Attention to Detail: Accuracy in auditing and processing financial documents.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Time Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.Critical Thinking: Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Active Listening: Understanding and responding effectively to team needs.Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based applications.Education: High school diploma preferred.Experience: 1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred.We Offer Best-in-Class Industry Benefits:The full hourly range for this position is $16.85-26.46 an hour. The anticipated starting pay for this role is $19.00-23.00+, based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.
