Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiovascular OR RN Job Description: - Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment as a Cardiovascular OR RN. - Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours (0645-1915) with occasional 12-hour weekday calls (1900-0715). - Flexibility is key! Adapt your schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. - Participate in weekend call every 5 weeks for comprehensive coverage. Requirements: - BLS certification required; CNOR preferred. - Must have prior travel nursing experience. - SCRUB HEARTS experience is required. - General surgical experience is essential. - Experience in a large, academic, teaching hospital is a must. - Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience, with high competency in Cardiovascular / Open Heart OR. - Flexibility to float to other OR suites, including General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc., where circulation is expected (scrubbing not required). - Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory and non-negotiable. Additional Information: - IVS to OFFER. - Work week: Monday to Sunday, no block scheduling available. - Bi-weekly orientations conducted on Mondays. - Please provide explanations for any employment gaps over 90 days. - Complete work history information required (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) for submission. Important Notes: - Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. - Ensure vehicles are equipped with all-season or snow tires during November – April.
