Position Summary WashU Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join its Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. The RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting patients with high-risk pregnancies within a fast-paced Maternal-Fetal Medicine outpatient practice. Working collaboratively alongside a team of six nurses and a panel of over 14 providers, the coordinator provides comprehensive clinical care, care coordination, and administrative support across multiple practice locations for a specialized patient population requiring advanced maternal care. LOUIS, MO 63108 Scheduled Hours 40 Schedule Monday–Friday | Regular Clinic Hours No Nights No Weekends No Holidays Setting Primary focus on outpatient clinic care, with occasional work-from-home opportunities as operational needs allow. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients; completes health history and physical examination on patients; conveys findings to physician. Coordinates patient care, orders diagnostic tests, conveys findings to physician, attends inpatient rounds, coordinates patient appointments and assists with referrals to outside sources. Assists physician and provides support with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care. Performs a variety of nursing administrative duties, including compliance with environmental safety regulations, infection control standards and quality assurance. Acts as liaison and team leader by facilitating communication and coordination of care between patients, families and health team members; explains routines and procedures to patients and coordinates patient care information to appropriate sources. Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with the Compact Act. Basic Life Support Certification or obtains certification within one month of employment. Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements. Grade19 Salary Range $64,500.00 - $109,900.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
