Location Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115) – Torrington, Connecticut Summary Under the supervision of a Nurse Leader, the Patient Care Tech (PCT) provides direct and indirect patient care activities essential to delivering a safe and efficient environment. The role supports patients, works with a skilled care team, and contributes to a positive patient experience. It operates in a high‑activity setting with multiple priorities, requiring flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities Perform specific duties that support patient care, including selected interventions and activities. Ensure compliance with hospital standards, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the care team to provide comprehensive patient care and a positive experience. Qualifications No experience required; on‑site training provided. Successful completion of PCT specific HHC orientation. Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 60 days of hire or transfer. High school diploma or GED preferred. Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred. Current certified BLS Provider credentialed from the AHA preferred.
