About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead its Equipment Sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of the sales team, owning the P&L, and partnering with the CEO to advance the sales strategy. This role requires a proven sales leader with a track record of profitable sales growth, strong business acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Experience in heavy equipment, vocational trucks, municipal fleets, or related industries is strongly preferred, with a focus on consultative sales and the ability to manage longer sales cycles. The VP of Sales will also be expected to coach and develop the sales team, establish KPIs, and ensure the company is a high-performing dealer for all manufacturers represented. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Sales position at the company will be an experienced leader who can effectively translate strategy into results, and is comfortable with both executive leadership and field activities. The role is highly field-oriented, with regular travel to work with sales leaders, visit customers, and attend industry events. The candidate should be prepared for a demanding travel schedule and be able to influence not only the sales organization but the broader business.
