Job Summary Pittsburgh, PA | Fox Chapel Start Date: mid‑September Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week Hourly Rate: $25–35 Children: 3‑year‑old & 4‑month‑old Pets: 2 small hypoallergenic dogs Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays, plus Christmas Eve and the Friday after Thanksgiving Requirements: Fully up to date on recommended vaccines Responsibilities and Duties The first year of a baby’s life is pure magic — tiny milestones, gummy smiles, and the joy of watching a little personality unfold day by day. Your primary focus will be caring for this baby throughout the workday while his energetic three‑year‑old sibling spends most days happily at daycare (though coverage for daycare closures would be appreciated!). The household rhythm strikes a lovely balance: mornings are often lively and bustling, while afternoons settle into a calmer groove of naps, snuggles, and play. Both parents work from home and deeply respect the nanny’s role as the daytime captain in baby’s care—encouraging initiative and ownership—while maintaining their role as the primary decision‑makers.
