ABOUT HIROS
Hiros is an AI-enabled recruitment technology company building a more scalable model for how businesses find and hire talent.
The company has developed Rose, an AI recruitment agent that manages much of the repetitive work traditionally carried out by recruiters, including candidate sourcing, personalised outreach, response management and interview scheduling.
Rose can search across more than 1 billion professional profiles and operate across the early stages of the recruitment process.
The recruiter remains responsible for the areas where human judgement continues to matter most: understanding the hiring requirement, assessing candidates, advising clients, negotiating and ultimately completing the placement.
The model is designed to allow experienced recruiters to handle materially more hiring activity without requiring an equivalent increase in manual sourcing and administrative capacity.
Hiros has already built and commercially validated the mode and is already revenue-generating, with income coming from both recurring software subscriptions and placement success fees. The company has completed placements across five companies, providing early validation of both revenue streams.
The focus is now on scaling.
THE BOARD OPPORTUNITY
Hiros is looking to appoint a limited number of experienced Executive Board Partners as the company moves from commercial validation into its next stage of growth.
We are looking for senior executives, founders, investors and experienced company builders who can bring relevant operating experience, relationships and strategic judgement to the business.
The next challenge is building the commercial organisation, recruiter network, partnerships and US presence required to scale that foundation substantially.
Executive Board Partners may contribute across several areas:
- US commercial growth and market entry
- Enterprise sales and customer acquisition
- AI and SaaS scale
- Recruitment and staffing
- Marketplace and network economics
- Strategic partnerships
- Capital strategy
- Organisational development
THE MARKET
Recruitment is a global industry estimated at approximately $856 billion, and AI-native recruitment companies are already attracting substantial institutional capital.
Recent examples include:
- Juicebox — raised an $80 million Series B at an $850 million valuation
- Jack & Jill — raised a $40 million Series A
- Dex — raised an approximately $6 million Seed round led by Notion Capital
These funding rounds show that significant capital is moving into AI recruitment. Hiros is built to capture more of the recruitment value chain than a standalone software tool.
Rose automates the high-volume work of sourcing, outreach and scheduling, while experienced recruiters handle the human work that ultimately converts activity into placements.
That allows Hiros to scale recruiter output while generating revenue from both software subscriptions and successful hires.
The model is already commercially validated, with paying customers and completed placements across five companies
HOW HIROS SCALES
Companies can use Rose directly through a recurring software subscription, while Hiros also participates economically when successful placements are completed through its wider recruitment model.
That gives the business two complementary growth engines:
- recurring software revenue as adoption of Rose increases; and
- placement-based revenue as more recruitment activity runs through the Hiros platform.
The advantage of the model is that growth does not rely solely on increasing internal headcount.
Hiros has built technology that allows significantly more sourcing, outreach and candidate engagement to be handled through the same underlying infrastructure, while experienced recruiters continue to manage the high-value human elements of the process.
WHY HIROS
The company already has:
- A live AI recruitment platform
- Access to more than 1 billion professional profiles
- Paying software customers
- Revenue from recurring subscriptions
- Revenue from successful placements
- completed placements across five companies
- A validated recruiter-led operating model
- Two complementary revenue streams
- A product designed for both companies and professional recruiters
- A large international market
- A clear pathway into the US market
ROLE OF EXECUTIVE BOARD PARTNERS
Executive Board Partners may contribute across one or more of the following areas.
US Commercial Growth & Enterprise Sales
Helping develop the US go-to-market strategy, enterprise sales process, customer acquisition model and commercial partnerships.
AI, SaaS & Product Scale
Providing experience around AI infrastructure, recurring-revenue software, product development, enterprise technology and platform scale.
Recruitment, Staffing & Talent
Contributing direct industry knowledge around recruitment economics, staffing businesses, recruiter productivity, talent acquisition and the development of professional recruiter networks.
Marketplaces & Network Businesses
Helping Hiros build and scale a model where an increasing number of recruiters operate on common technology infrastructure.
Strategic Partnerships & Distribution
Supporting relationships with employers, recruitment businesses, technology partners, industry networks and other potential distribution channels.
Capital Strategy & Company Development
Contributing experience around financing strategy, institutional investors, governance, organisational structure and the milestones required to build a substantially larger company.
The intention is not for every Executive Board Partner to cover every area.
Hiros wants to build an advisory group where individual members bring specific experience and relationships relevant to the company's growth priorities.
OWNERSHIP AND LONG-TERM ALIGNMENT
The role is designed for candidates who view strategic involvement and long-term equity alignment as interconnected priorities.
Executive Board Partner involvement centres on high-level guidance, with opportunities for capital and ownership alignment where there is mutual fit.
This is not a cash-compensated position.
IDEAL PROFILE
We are particularly interested in individuals with significant senior executive, founder, board or investment experience across areas including:
- Artificial intelligence
- SaaS and enterprise technology
- Recruitment and staffing
- HR technology and talent acquisition
- Marketplaces and network businesses
- Enterprise sales
- US commercial expansion
- Strategic partnerships
- Venture capital and private investing
- Scaling venture-backed companies

We are particularly interested in individuals who:
- Have previously built or scaled a technology business
- Understand recurring-revenue or marketplace models
- Have senior commercial relationships in the US
- Have experience supporting companies through rapid growth
- Understand recruitment, HR technology or enterprise software
- Have previously invested in or advised private companies
- Can contribute strategically beyond capital
- Want meaningful involvement in the next stage of Hiros
