About the Plant:
- 75K sq ft, 14 machines, 24/7 production; non-union
- Produces Packaging
Shift - 7p-7a - 2-2-3
- Come in early to communicate with previous shift supervisor and schedule wise
- Tracking the goals
- Strong communication - keeps information flowing up and down across teams, explains expectations and escalates issues with clarity
- Leadership through example - leads from floor - safe, professional behavior, demonstrates consistency through words and actions
- Problems and solving and decision making, acts quickly under pressure, looks at root-cause
- Develop mindset, focuses on developing minds
- 20 direct reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred; Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful production supervision experience preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the willingness and ability to learn new systems; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. and sometimes more, and regularly stand/move about facility.
Salary is 65k-75K (Max) DOE plus 5% annual bonus
