Our challenge

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Java Full Stack Developer to build scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, React, and Angular . The Lead will also provide technical guidance and mentor development teams.

Additional Information*

\n

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Angular.
\n
• Design and maintain scalable microservices.
\n
• Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
\n
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
\n
• Create responsive and reusable frontend components.
\n
• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.
\n
• Participate in architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical planning.
\n
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
\n
• For Lead roles: mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Strong Software development experience; Lead roles.
\n
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices .
\n
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka .
\n
• Proficiency in React and/or Angular , JavaScript, and TypeScript.
\n
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.
\n
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
\n
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of software design, testing, security, and performance.
\n
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Avro, Protobuf, or Schema Registry.
\n
• Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
\n
• Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Redux, or RxJS.
\n
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
\n
• Experience leading technical initiatives in an Agile environment.
\n
