Manager Position

A manager is someone who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have a strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our managers are responsible for supporting the senior management team in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our recipe for service. The two main areas of focus for a manager are completing tasks to run the restaurant effectively and training and developing team members. Managers lead by example and set the tone for others to follow.

Responsibilities of the Manager:

• Participate operationally in daily activities in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants
• Provide immediate and respectful response to guest needs
• Help in training new employees, setting the tone for a shift, and acting as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly and motivating team player
• Open and/or close, lead changes, key holder
• Count drawers and end of day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Previous experience as a shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team leader, restaurant manager, or assistant restaurant manager is not required but preferred.

Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are managed by independent franchise business owners who make all their own business decisions and are responsible for their content and policies.
