Catering Sales & Business Development Representative

Paris Baguette – Towson, Maryland

Compensation: Commission-Based | Flexible Schedule

Position Overview

Paris Baguette in Towson is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and results-driven Catering Sales & Business Development Representative to help grow our catering business throughout Towson and the surrounding Baltimore County area.

This is a commission-based sales position ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building business relationships, developing new accounts, and generating sales. The primary responsibility will be to identify and develop new catering customers while building long-term relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, medical offices, event venues, churches, universities, and community groups.

Our catering offerings include breakfast and pastry assortments, sandwiches, salads, desserts, cakes, beverages, coffee, and other products suitable for corporate meetings, employee events, celebrations, school functions, conferences, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

* Actively identify and pursue new catering customers throughout the local market.

* Conduct outbound sales through phone calls, emails, in-person visits, networking, and community outreach.

* Develop relationships with:

* Corporate offices and businesses

* Medical and dental offices

* Hospitals and healthcare organizations

* Schools, colleges, and universities

* Churches and religious organizations

* Apartment communities

* Hotels and event venues

* Coworking spaces

* Event planners

* Nonprofit and community organizations

* Government and professional offices

* Introduce prospective customers to Paris Baguette’s catering menu and capabilities.

* Distribute catering menus, promotional materials, samples, and special offers to prospective accounts.

* Develop recurring catering accounts rather than focusing only on one-time orders.

* Follow up with prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.

* Work with store management to coordinate larger catering opportunities and special customer requests.

* Represent Paris Baguette professionally at networking events, community events, and business functions.

* Maintain records of leads, customer contacts, opportunities, and completed catering sales.

* Help identify local partnerships and opportunities that can increase catering revenue and brand awareness.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has experience in sales, business development, catering sales, hospitality, restaurant sales, event sales, or community outreach.

* Is comfortable approaching businesses and developing relationships with decision-makers.

* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

* Is persistent and comfortable with outbound prospecting.

* Has strong knowledge of the Towson/Baltimore County business community or is willing to develop it.

* Understands that success in this position is based primarily on generating new catering revenue.

* Has reliable transportation for visiting prospective customers.

Existing relationships with local businesses, schools, hospitals, event planners, apartment communities, hotels, churches, or professional organizations are a strong plus.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential based on performance.

Commission will be paid on qualifying catering sales generated directly by the representative.

The more catering business you develop, the greater your earning potential.
