NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking a patient-focused Pharmacist to join a closed-door pharmacy team in Cary, NC. This role is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy counseling patients, providing high-quality customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment with significant phone-based patient interaction.

Pharmacist – Closed Door Pharmacy

Location: Cary, NC 27513
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Schedule:

• Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• After Training: Monday–Friday with a mix of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST shifts
• Must be available for at least three 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM shifts per week

Work Environment:

• Onsite in Cary, NC for up to 6 months
• Hybrid option available after successful completion of training and performance metrics

Position Overview

Pharmacists in this role will spend the majority of the day counseling patients, answering medication-related questions, and ensuring safe and accurate pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient counseling regarding medications, dosing, side effects, and adherence
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls professionally and efficiently
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to support patient care
• Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a closed-door pharmacy environment

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient counseling experience
• Comfortable speaking with patients on the phone for 7–8 hours per day
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must live within one hour driving distance of Cary, NC 27513
• Ability to work onsite during the initial training and onboarding period

• Experience in a closed-door, specialty, mail-order, or high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
