Veterinary Receptionist Needed in New Orleans Area! Hickory Knoll Veterinary Hospital is privately-owned, 4 doctor veterinary hospital located in Harahan, Louisiana. We are looking for a cheerful, energetic, and responsible individual with a strong work ethic and outstanding customer service and communication skills to join our front desk team. Full time position available. Must be able to work on Saturdays. Primary Responsibilities Greeting clients and pets, answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments and taking messages. Checking medication and appointment requests on our website and pet portals. Preparing invoices and processing payments. Managing medical records, charts and correspondence. Maintaining the front lobby and ensuring a clean facility. Answering non-medical questions regarding products and services. Candidates must be competent with computers, be able to lift 25+ pounds and excel in multitasking. Candidates preferably have 2 years of veterinary and/or CSR experience. Avimark experience is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check.
