Senior Probate Attorney

Overview Los Gatos office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior probate attorney with 10–26 years of experience. The candidate will handle cases from intake through conclusion, including meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, administering depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting research, writing motions, making court appearances, arguing motions, participating in trials, interviewing witnesses, drafting agreements, negotiating settlements, attending mediations and arbitrations, and handling family law cases as requested by the partners. Responsibilities Manage probate litigation matters from intake through conclusion, including case assessment and strategy development. Meet with clients and gather necessary information to advance cases. Draft pleadings, motions, and associated court filings. Conduct depositions, propound and respond to discovery, and perform legal research. Make court appearances and argue motions in court. Participate in trials, interview witnesses, and draft related trial documents. Draft agreements, negotiate settlements, and attend mediations and arbitrations as needed. Collaborate with partners on other family law matters as requested. Qualifications Licensed California attorney. Knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure is essential.
