Work Environment

This position will take place in our outpatient office setting in Lubbock, Texas. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a supportive clinic environment that prioritizes patient care and community outreach. The clinic operates during standard hours, with a typical schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. Participation in weekend community outreach events may also be required, allowing practitioners to engage actively with local populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, detailed health screenings, and patient histories for diverse individuals and families in the community.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring that preventive care and health promotion strategies are appropriately integrated into patient care plans.
• Collaboratively develop and implement health education initiatives that aim to inform the community about available resources, preventive health measures, and overall wellness.
• Provide culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients' rights, and ensuring equitable access to needed healthcare services.
• Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care, maintaining communication with specialists to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Stay informed about emerging community health trends, evidence-based practices, and relevant local and national healthcare policies.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
