Sun Auto Tire & Service encompasses over 500 retail locations throughout the United States.\n\nThe Store Manager is responsible for the overall store performance both financial and operational of a market by establishing and maintaining guest services, overseeing and is accountable for the operation of their market by ensuring maximum sales and profitability through expense control, human resource management, and managing operating costs and shrink.\n\nCOMPENSATION: Salary Range (Depending on experience) + Bonus\n\nBenefits:\n\n Competitive Bi-Weekly Pay\n Tuition Reimbursement\n Paid Vacation and Sick Time\n 6 Paid Holidays\n Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance\n Life Insurance (Company paid)\n 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match\n Discounted Services on Personal and Immediate Family Vehicles\n Opportunity for Advancement!!!\n\nStore Manager Duties & Responsibilities\nPeople\n\n Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on job responsibilities, goals, training, development, and customer service.\n Hold employees accountable for job responsibilities and goals through coaching and counseling.\n Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.\n Recruit, interview, and hire new employees as needed, in partnership with HR.\n Conduct regular performance evaluations for all employees.\n\nFinancials\n\n Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.\n Share financial targets and results with employees during store meetings.\n Review invoices and daily reports to identify business growth opportunities.\n Maintain proper controls over company assets and follow standard closing procedures.\n\nFacilities\n\n Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the store at all times, including front, back, and exterior.\n Maintain “best in class” housekeeping and merchandising standards.\n Conduct regular equipment inspections and request maintenance as necessary.\n Ensure timely return of unused parts to vendors and proper credit processing.\n\nQualifications\n\n Two or more years of experience leading a team in a similar role.\n Proven experience in retail or automotive service management.\n Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.\n Demonstrated ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.\n Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.\n Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required.\n Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Sun Auto’s driving requirements.\n Willingness to relocate or accept placement in an open store upon program completion.\n Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.\n\nWorking Conditions and Physical Demands\n\n Exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.\n Work environment temperatures may vary, including extreme heat and/or cold.\n Must be able to stand up to eight hours per day, walk throughout the building, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and have full range of motion with arms and hands.\n Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.\n Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties.\n\nSun Auto Tire & Service provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
