Production Technician ($20-$22/hr)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the manufacturing of modular homes where you will play a crucial role in the full-scale production of modular home parts. As a Production Technician, you will support secondary operations across various departments and assist in the assembly of components.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the paint department with the preparation and painting of parts.
• Support the beams/wall department in the assembly and installation of structural components.
• Contribute to the glass/window department by assembling and installing glass components.
• Work within the electrical department to assist in the installation and testing of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and demonstrate mechanical aptitude to support manufacturing and production activities.
• Maintain high standards of attendance and a positive attitude.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and general production.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience in a startup environment is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a large, organized, and clean manufacturing floor equipped with new tools and machinery. The first shift operates from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured and efficient workday. Experience a supportive environment with opportunities for career advancement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gardena, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
