Job Description As a Security Officer Security Coordination in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, including loading docks, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures. Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns by observing and reporting unusual activity. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
