Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a General Surgical Unit position in Reno, NV, requiring 2 years of OR/surgical experience and an active NV RN license.

Details

• General Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required; RNs who have never held a NV license may still be considered but must apply for licensure immediately upon offer
• Minimum 2 years of surgical/OR nursing experience required
• All certifications must be AHA-issued

Additional Information

• Epic training is provided during orientation, or candidates may test out
• Coverage for a minimum of 2 major holidays will be required
• Time off requests (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration, as time is not added to the end of the contract to compensate for RTO
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• After completing a contract (including extensions), a 13-week break is required before returning
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
