As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, visitor direction, and reporting of access-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate site contacts. Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
