Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
Leads a team in the performance of aircraft modifications, maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance. Position contingent based on contract award.
Roles and responsibilities include supervising subordinate mechanics, providing technical guidance on maintenance operations, performing, supervising, and inspecting duties of all team members, maintaining repairs and modifications of aircraft structures and electronic systems, interpreting technical data, and providing technical support to engineers and customers.

Education and experience include minimum of ten (10) years' total and two (2) years recent (within 4 years of task order PoP start) experience in aircraft maintenance support within two (2) years on Fighter/Bomber/Attack aircraft (preferably F-16) as an aircraft mechanic in Avionics, Electrical or General maintenance specialties, and previous supervisory experience in fighter aircraft maintenance, or modification fields.
Security clearance requirements include ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
Supervisory responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff, overseeing the daily workflow of the department, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations, and handling discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Physical requirements include normal color vision as defined by GMRE, with a passing score of 75% or greater, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Travel required includes occasional travel for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
