POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Mortgage Processor to join our team in Florida. The Mortgage Processor will be responsible for managing an assigned pipeline of mortgage loans and processing files from application through closing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all required documentation.

The ideal candidate will have mortgage loan processing experience, a strong understanding of underwriting and closing procedures, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage an assigned pipeline of 35–50+ loans on a daily and weekly basis.
• Process mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Collect, review, and analyze borrower and third-party documentation for submission to Underwriting.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of current experience in Financial Services ; mortgage loan processing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of credit and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when interacting with borrowers and business partners.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Comfortable working in a paperless/digital environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet time-sensitive closing deadlines.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when business needs require.
• Ability to obtain an NMLS-MLO License preferred.
