Estate Planning Attorney- Maryland Licensed Location: [Gaithersburg, Greenbelt, or Frederick, MD] • Full-Time
We are seeking a Maryland-licensed Estate Planning Attorney to join our growing estate planning practice. This is a commission-based opportunity designed for an attorney who enjoys client consultations, relationship-building, and helping individuals and families create comprehensive estate plans.
This role offers significant earning potential based on performance and the ability to generate and convert estate planning business. Attorneys who are entrepreneurial, motivated, and enjoy working directly with clients may thrive in this opportunity.Responsibilities

  • Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice regarding estate planning and wealth transfer
  • Prepare and review wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and other estate planning documents
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and communicate complex legal concepts
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage client matters from consultation through completion
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and provide timely follow-up and communication
  • Stay current on applicable laws
Qualifications
  • J.D. degree from accredited law school
  • Active Maryland Bar license in good standing
  • 3+ years of estate planning experience preferred; attorneys with strong experience in trusts and estates, tax, or another related practice area may also be considered.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
  • Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines.
