Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13 Weeks | Must work all holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 36-bed unit
• Deliver nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols; no call, no floating, and no 48-hour shifts required
• Maintain compliance with all scheduled shifts, including holiday coverage as expected
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical Surgical experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with MEDHOST or similar EMR platforms
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
