Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for New York State
• Background in school-based OT services, preferably with elementary students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service professionals
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and self-help needs
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans aligned with each student's IEP
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school environment
• Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate updates to staff and parents
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP planning
• Educate teachers and support staff on strategies for student success
