Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

Warehouse PositionPerform all aspects of shipping, receiving and inventory.Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and in a timely manner and make sure all steps are completed before releasing the truckReport any damages or defaults with the forklift immediately to your team lead.Move production supplies to and from the storage areas, using the task sheets, with a forklift, hand jack, or what means necessary to keep the production flowing.Maintain accurate inventoryConduct location audits randomly and cycle countsOrganize materials in the production area along with the warehouse areas keeping them neat and cleanIdentify potential problems or issues that ariseOther duties as assignedPrevious experience in warehousing preferred.Previous experience on forklift and power equipment preferred.Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and proceduresAbility to pay close attention to detailSkill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the jobSkill in multitasking and time managementAbility to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departmentsAbility to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidentialAbility to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defenseMust be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communicationMust be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersMust be able to reach, touch, graspMust be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and pushMust be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floorMust be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 pounds0% - Optional travel may be offered to support business needs
