About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Capital Formation to join its team. The successful candidate will be tasked with spearheading fundraising initiatives across various investment offerings and capital raising channels. This role requires a professional with a strong network across family offices, RIAs, broker-dealers, and other private wealth channels, as well as a proven track record in raising capital for alternative investment vehicles and commercial real estate strategies. The Head of Capital Formation will be responsible for leading the firm's capital formation efforts, including investor relations, fundraising, and marketing initiatives, and will play a key role in building a scalable, data-driven capital raising platform. Applicants for the Head of Capital Formation position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, investment banking, private equity, or related fields. The role demands a professional with a strong understanding of alternative investments, capital markets, and commercial real estate investment structures, as well as exceptional relationship management, presentation, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and close capital commitments, and experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies. Strong leadership experience, including the ability to build and manage teams, and familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data-driven business development strategies are also essential. The Head of Capital Formation will be expected to have a high level of initiative, integrity, and entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to travel frequently to meet with investors and prospects.
